In Q4 2023, the top consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Costa Rica exhibited distinct trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Wallet saw fluctuating download numbers throughout the quarter, with a high of approximately 9.6K in the week of September 25 and a low of around 3.9K in the week of October 9. Despite these fluctuations, weekly active users showed a general upward trend, starting at 18.5K at the end of September and reaching about 19.6K by the end of December.

Money manager & expenses experienced a gradual increase in revenue, beginning with negligible earnings and peaking at $17 in the final week of December. Downloads varied, reaching a maximum of 861 in early October and dipping to a low of 173 in mid-December. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 5.5K throughout the quarter.

Splitwise demonstrated a steady rise in revenue, starting at $40 in late September and ending the quarter at $67. Downloads were highest at the end of December with 496 and showed a general decline mid-quarter. Weekly active users also fluctuated, peaking at 2.2K in early October and maintaining around 2K towards the end of December.

Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker reported consistent revenue, with a noticeable peak of $62 in mid-December. Download numbers were highest in the final week of December at 300, with a general decline observed mid-quarter. Weekly active users remained fairly steady, starting at 1.7K and closing the quarter at 1.8K.

Skrill - Fast, secure payments had the lowest download numbers among the top five, with a peak of 414 in early October. Active users saw a slight decline, starting at 736 in late September and ending at 540 by the end of December.
